True Romance

Weddings are romance, and in this case it was very true with our real life couple, Yuri & Stephen Lott. Newly married, this beautiful couple came out with us to the Grand Island Mansion.  Our love birds arrived in a horse-drawn carriage, shared a first look, then headed off to the ceremony site. Hundreds of flowers in shades of pink and white draped the gazebo with strands of crystals behind. Tall flower arrangements lined the aisle with dangling crystals and lots of rose petals.

Blush being such a popular color the team worked the entire theme around it. The cake table, one of my favorite styles, had flowers under glass with lacy blush linen holding the 3-tier dessert. Guest chairs sported a side wrap cap with rosette, while the head table was adorned with a hanging ruffle. Very elegant! Additional draping was placed behind the bride and grooms chairs with even more flowers draped above. The table was loaded in varying sizes of glass candle holders, clear and with crystals. Arrangements varied high to low, but not high enough to block guests from seeing each other. Blush napkins were tied with a beaded crystal tie. Absolutely glamorous!

As the sun set, our couple was able to get in a few more personal shots, both in front of the mansion and up on the levee. True Romance.
